Weekly Music Lineup – 8/12/21

It’s the final weekend of Musikfest and there’s still plenty of music to be heard. For a complete list of the remaining shows and everything you need to know about Musikfest, visit https://www.musikfest.org/ For everything else music in and around the Valley, read on.

FESTIVALS AND SPECIAL EVENTS

There are actually four Bethlehem Venues that are not “official” Musikfest venues but, will be hosting live music every night, or nearly every night, during the festival. My apologies to the Steel Pub and the bands for not including them here last week. They are Seven Sirens Brewing Co, The Funhouse Southside, The Steel Pub and The Wooden Match. Here are their schedules for this weekend: Seven Sirens: Thu – 7pm, Skylar Love. Fri – 8pm, The Moondogs. Sat – 2pm, Mosey Beat & 8pm – At the Apollo. Sun – 1pm – Haley Jackson and 5pm, Jetpack Dracula. The Funhouse: all shows at 10pm. Thu, The Groove Merchants. Fri, Rumplestiltzskinz w/The Snakes of PA. Sat, The Explorers Reunion w/Atlassian & David Cahill. Sun, The Band Richard & The Living Things. The Wooden Match: Thu – 4pm, The Centronia Soul Shakers, 8pm, The Wonton Soups. Fri – Noon, Ginger & the Schnappes, 4pm, Jeffreys Trio and 8pm The Groove Merchants. Sat – Noon, The Lou Franco Project, 4pm, Resting Punk Face, 8:30pm, Another Day Dawns. Sun – all day, Jamal Knight. The Steel Pub: Thu – 7pm, Smith Compound Band. Fri – 7pm, Girl Crue. Sat 1pm, Band of Brothers, 7pm, Stereotype. Sun – 3pm, Pulp Flannel, 8pm, Doubting Thomas.

Every THURSDAY through October 14 starts with Happy Hour on Hamilton in downtown Allentown and Rock the Walk at 4pm. This week’s featured performer in Pocket Park is The Supra/Ayers Band (6pm). Smooth Retsina Glow will be at Bru Daddy’s at 4pm. Look for other pop-up artists along Hamilton Street from 4-6pm.

THURSDAY 8/12 thru SATURDAY 8/14/21 – Both the Kutztown Fair and the Carbon County Fair will have live music all three nights. Kutztown ($30 admission): Thu – 7pm – County Line Band. Fri – 6:30pm – Cramer Brothers, 8:30pm – Mystic Warrior. Sat – 7pm – Steel Creek, 8:30pm – Steve Kelly & Mark Fahad. For more info https://kutztownfair.com/ .
