Live Music – Setting the Stage for Christmas in the Quarter

Christmas in the Quarter comes to life this Friday, November 6, in Bethlehem’s Industrial Quarter. Live music, presented by Voices of the Valley, is one of the many attractions that are a part of this two-month long celebration of the holiday season. Mike Metzgar will kick things off for us at the Luckenbach Mill on Friday at 6pm. Saturday will feature Bill McConney (4pm) and Eliza Rush (6pm). On Sunday, Amber Peirce will take the “stage” at 4pm and The Mark & Ralph Acoustic Duo will close out week one at 6pm.

Of course, live music is not the only thing happening in The Quarter. The historic buildings will be outlined in lights and the trees decorated in the holiday spirit. There will be kids crafts and activities and photo opportunities for everyone. There will be holiday art exhibits both indoors and outside as well the Putz Exhibit. There will even be Christmas Cottages for rent for up to 5 (five) people. Stop by the outdoor movie screen and take in a show from Christmas’ past. And, what would a holiday celebration be without pop-up Holiday shopping ? Take care of all your gift-giving needs while enjoying all that Christmas in the Quarter has to offer. Cave Brewing Company will be on sight at the outdoor bar pouring your favorite craft beers. They will also be taking orders for 16oz cans and 32oz Crowlers at their Bethlehem brewery location or local delivery. They will be joined by Kilimanjaro Distilleries and Xplorer Spirits for all of your adult beverage needs. Food trucks will be on site in case you get a little hungry. The hours of operation are 2pm-8pm Thursday through Sunday (excluding this Thursday, 11/5) from Friday, November 6 through Sunday, December 27, 2020. For tickets and more information, visit http://www.historicbethlehem.org.

There will also be a food drive during the month of November to benefit two (2) local food banks. Donations of canned goods and non-perishable items are needed and every donation will receive a coupon for 20% off your holiday shopping at the pop-up locations.
