October is certainly going out with a bang weather-wise. Don’t let that stop you from finding the right spot to enjoy some live music. There are several places doing their part to keep the music scene alive, rain or shine and, in spite of the current limitations. Here are just some of the places that consistently provide a place for us to perform and for others to relax and enjoy the many great artists here in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. The Iron Mule, Easton Wine Project, Weyerbacher Brewing Co, Black & Blue and Rivals Sports Bar – all in Easton, PA. The Funhouse Southside, Seven Sirens Brewing Co and Artisan’s Wine and Cheese Cellar, all in Bethlehem and the Shanty on 19th in Allentown. Further north you have places like Insurrection Distillery (Lehighton), ShawneeCraft Brewing Co (Shawnee on the Delaware) and the Trails End Pub (Tannersville). I’m sure I am missing a few but, let’s show these places we appreciate what they do by getting out and supporting them.
There are still a few open mic nights you can take in if you are looking for a place to play a few songs of your own. Tonight at 7pm you can head to ShawneeCraft Brewing Company up north (Walter Lee – host) or the Bowers Hotel (Phil Stahl – host). On Sunday at 3pm is John Cannavo’s Open Jam – with full backline – at the Shanty on 19th St. If you intend to participate, it’s probably a good idea to bring your own microphone. Let’s take a look at this weekends’ lineup. Some places my still not have the room to bring the music inside so, check ahead just in case. If you would like your events promoted here each week simply let me know by Wednesday evening through the “contact us” form on the website, Facebook messenger or lvvoicesofthevalley@gmail.com. Don’t forget to like and share us on Facebook.

Also, if you are on Bandcamp, send me your links. They are, once again, waiving all fees on Friday, November 6 and I will post your links on Monday.
