Amid concerns over the spread of the Corona Virus, this years’ Blueberry Festival will have a new look. Traditionally a 2-day event at the Burnside Plantation in Bethlehem, it will be a 9-day “marketplace” event beginning Saturday, July 18 and running through Sunday, July 26. Both weekends will feature live music throughout the day with performances by many local musicians. While the weekdays offer online ordering and drive-thru pickup for all of your blueberry favorites, the weekends will feature many other activities, including reserved picnic area spots. You can find a list of all weekend activities at https://historicbethlehem.org/blueberry-festival/. Here’s your live music lineup for both weekends.
Saturday, 7/18 – 10am – TBD, noon – Young at Heart Boys, 2pm – Irish Jam Session, 4pm – Stacy Gabel. Sunday, 7/19 – 10am – Dave Fry, noon – Russ Rentler, 2pm – Old Time Jam, 4pm – Lockman and Purcell.
The second weekend – presented by Voices of the Valley – has music at two locations. Most of the music will take place at the Corn Crib while there will be a few performances at the Dessert Tent as well. Here’s your lineup: Saturday, 7/25 – 10am – Joe Argese, noon – Ralph Pagano (solo – dessert tent) and Mark Hannig (solo – Corn Crib), 2pm – Not for Coltrane, 4pm – Michael Reisman. Sunday, 7/26 – 10am – The Druckenmillers, noon – Shane Reimer, 2pm – Ben Tyler (Dessert Tent), The Mark & Ralph Acoustic Duo (Corn Crib), 4pm – Frank Porter (Corn Crib) and Mike Metzger (Dessert Tent).
I can still fill some spots at the Dessert Tent on the weekend of 7/25 & 7/26. If you have any interest in performing at the festival that weekend, email email@example.com for details.
