Lehigh Valley Beer Week got off to a great start at Cave Brewing Company on Saturday with an outstanding performance from Emily Noel. A nearly packed house welcomed live music back to “The Cave” for the first time in a while and set the tone for the rest of the week and beyond. With two more performances this week the stage is being set for a great lineup of live music throughout the spring and summer in the South Mall. First, let’s take a look at how they’re closing out Beer Week.
Thursday, February 20, 6:30pm – The Mark & Ralph Acoustic Duo. Take a trip back in time to the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Easton’s Mark Hannig has joined forces with local songwriter Ralph Pagano to bring back the sounds from the classic rock era. Featuring powerful harmonies on many favorites from bands like the Eagles, the Beatles, Little River Band, CSNY and many more, this is sure to be an entertaining evening.
Saturday, February 22, 6:30pm – The Audio Files. featuring lead guitarist Mark Cernese, is one of the Valley’s newest up-and-coming cover bands. They will close out the beer week festivities with hits from the 90’s and 2000’s with songs from The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Creed and many more. In their last appearance here, they drew a nice crowd despite the only real snow storm of the year so, expect a larger crowd this time. Come early, stay late and enjoy the music.
Starting in March, there will be live music here every Friday at 6:30pm. The March lineup looks strong with Jim Steager and special guest Rich Frikkers, Michael Reisman of Acoustic Mayhem, Jaisen Taylor (Jay-T) and Jack Pierone. Cave Brewing Company features 16 craft beers on tap, Colony Meadery meads, select local wines and the Baked Apple Cocktail. This is a family friendly venue and you are welcome to bring food or order in from local restaurants. Dino’s Pizza (inside the mall) and Grub Hub deliver. All shows are free and happy hour ($1 off pints) is 4-7pm on Fridays. Come discover Cave Brewing Company. “There’s always something brewing in The Cave”
