Lehigh Valley Beer week is officially underway and Cave Brewing Company has plenty to offer the beer lover in you. Let’s start with the live music lineup. After all, we’re all about the music here and, they have some great music lined up for you.
This week starts with Josie award and LVMA nominee Emily Noel featuring her singles “I Miss You” and “Me, Myself and I”. Thursday night the Mark & Ralph acoustic duo will be performing many favorites from the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s from bands like The Eagles, Little River Band, CSNY and many more. The week ends with The Audio Files, featuring lead guitarist Mark Cernese, on Saturday, February 22. All shows start at 6:30pm and there is no cover charge.
Other events at the Cave this week include “Pints, no, Poses”, an afternoon Yoga class this afternoon at 2pm. Admission is $20 at the door and includes a on-hour class and a free pint. Tomorrow is “Chill and Chili” day. Bring your favorite vinly record to listen to while competing in the chili cook-off. Don’t want to cook ? Come enjoy the music and sample the chili. The $5 admission gets you unlimited chili sample while they last and all proceeds go to the Sanctuary at Haafsville, a local animall shelter. The sanctuary will also have adoptable cats for you to meet and take home with you. The fun begins at 1pm. On Friday, February 21, it’s “Paint & Sip” night at 5pm.
Located inside the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh Street, Allentown, Cave Brewing Company features a family and pet friendly atmosphere, 16 beers on tap, meads from Colony Meadery, select local wines and the Baked Apple cocktail. Happy hour ($1 off pints) runs until 6pm on Wed and Thurs and 7pm on Fri. Cave is closed on Mon & Tue. Come discover the Cave during Lehigh Valley Beer Week, February 15-22.
