Weekly Live Music “HOT SPOTS” – 12/12-12/15

It’s a busy music weekend in the Lehigh Valley with many great choices so, pick a spot or two, or three and go support live local music. You can start tonight with the open mic night at Cave Brewing Company, hosted by Nick Lindsay, starting at 5:30pm. Later on, you can see Taylor O’Conner of Mosey Beat at Pearly Baker’s Ale House (9:30pm) or stop by the Funhouse Southside for Hexting at 10:30.

Friday: The 7 o’clock hour is busy, starting with the Stanhope House where you’ll find Pentley Holmes, Steve Kirchuk and Carl Scimeca. Other 7pm starts include Audio Files making their Lehigh Valley debut at Yergey Brewing Company, A Girl & A Guy at Easton Wine Project, the Moondogs at the Slateford Inn and the Doug Kaetz Duo at Lost Tavern (Bethlehem). At 8pm you have Ralph Pagano at the Downtown Allentown Market, the Custom Shop Boys at Blend and the Kennedys at Godfrey Daniels. Mike Roi, Mr. Drag and HeadEye will draw the crowd to Colonial Pizza at 9pm, She Said Sunday gets started at 9:30pm at Grumpy’s BBQ, Mike Frank & Friends take the stage at Pearly Baker’s at 10pm and Bear Sloth and Scruft round out the night at the Funhouse at 10:30.

Saturday: The early starts include Ralph Pagano at Stony Run Winery’s new Breinigsville tasting room at 2pm and Heart Headed at Taylor House Brewing at 4. The evening kicks off at 7pm with Neil Grover at Easton Wine Project or Joe Argese at Gallows Hill Spirits. At 8pm, Michael Reisman will provide the sounds at Colonial Pizza while Godfrey Daniels hosts Bakithi Kumalo & the South African All-Stars. Mosey Beat will be at Two Rivers Brewing Company at 8:30pm while Steve & Steve get started at 9 at Fossil’s Last Stand. Late-night shows include the Billy Bauer Band at Pearly Baker’s and Doug Kaetz at the Wooden Match at 10pm while the Stray Seeds close out the night at the Funhouse, starting at 10:30.

Sunday features the Songwriter’s Showcase at Blend with Chris Colaiaco, Doug Kaetz, Matt Bednarski and Vanessa Marchiano at 4pm. The featured artist at Godfrey Daniels‘ open mic (7pm) is Nick Franclik and Lorenzo has your late-night covered at the Funhouse (10:30pm).
