Weekly Live Music “HOT SPOTS” – 12/5-12/8

The “Hottest” spot in the Valley goes to Bethlehem’s Southside this weekend. The First Friday Concert Series gets underway starting at 5PM with live music at several locations. The Naughty or Nice Cocktails and Cookies Crawl takes place on Saturday with live music throughout the day, starting at 1PM. For complete lineups for both events, visit https://www.facebook.com/southsideartsdistrict/ , https://www.facebook.com/lvvoicesofthevalley/ or http://www.soutsideartsdistrict.com

Tonight, you can “do it yourself” at Carter Lansing’s open mic night at Pearly Baker’s Ale House (9PM) or head to the Funhouse Southside for Burn It Down at 10:30.

Friday: Doug Kaetz gets things started at Bishop Estate Vineyards and Winery at 6PM. Easton Wine Project hosts Steph & Mike while the Saucony Creek Franklin Station Brew Pub welcomes Smooth Retsina Glow, both at 7PM. That’s What She Said takes the stage at Pearly Baker’s while the Twighlights and Leah Fuls will be at Porter’s Pub, both starting at 10.

Saturday: Smooth Retsina Glow – fresh off a new album release, by the way – will be at Black River Farms starting at 3PM. At 7PM, Easton Wine Project welcomes Generations while Ralph Pagano entertains at the Beef Baron. Mike Dugan’s Cheek2Cheek Duo will be on the legendary Godfrey Daniels stage at 8PM. The Chelsea Lyn Meyer Band will be at the Diamond Fire Co. Social Club for their final full band show of the year at 8:30pm. There are a few shows starting at 9PM with Doyle and the Dudes at Southside 313 Bar and Grill, The Crush at Fossil’s Last Stand and The Collective makes their debut at the Shanty On 19th. The 10PM hour has both Pearly Baker’s (The Gonzo Project) and Porter’s Pub (Public Displays of Rejection) rocking and the Funhouse has the late show (10:30PM) with Dear Anna.

If you miss Public Displays of Rejection on Saturday, you can see them at the Funhouse Sunday night (10:30) right after the Brightest and Best Christmas at Godfrey Daniels (8PM).
